FAQ
Is Calper a good alternative to Amelia?+
If you charge for your time and want to get paid in India, yes. Calper is built around paid bookings through your own Razorpay account — UPI, cards and netbanking in INR — and it's free to start with a one-time lifetime upgrade instead of a monthly subscription.
How is Calper different from Amelia?+
A popular booking plugin for WordPress sites. Calper focuses specifically on Indian professionals taking paid appointments, with built-in Razorpay payments, deposits, and AI-driven reminders and follow-ups.
Can I move from Amelia to Calper easily?+
Yes. You create your booking page, set your services and prices, connect Razorpay, and share your new link. There's nothing to install and your payments land directly in your own account.
Does Calper cost less than Amelia?+
Calper is free to start, and paid features are a one-time lifetime upgrade rather than a recurring per-seat fee — which usually works out cheaper for solo professionals and small teams over time.
